Unit 1: Understanding your knowledge assets (Wednesday 30 April - Friday 2 May, 2008)
Unit 2: Building organisational capability (Wednesday 20 August - Friday 22 August, 2008)
6 full days (2 units at 3 days per unit)
Course Goals
- To outline the trans-disciplinary approach of knowledge management and its application in a variety of organisational contexts
- To introduce the principles and approaches for developing knowledge enabled workplaces
Teaching/learning strategies
Participants will be encouraged to share their experiences and ideas and work with others to explore new ways of thinking. The course will be conducted using a mixture of lectures, small group activities; practical exercises, case studies, facilitated discussions, online activities and video presentations.
