UTS: Communication offers a range of types of courses to International Students.
Full-degree international students
We offer full time degree courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Postgraduate courses can either be by coursework or research. UTS charges fees for these courses.
Study abroad students
Study abroad students spend one or two semesters with UTS choosing from a range of full degree subjects which can be credited back to their courses in their home country. UTS charges fees for these courses.
Exchange students
Exchange students spend up to a year with us choosing from a range of full degree subjects. Students pay course fees at their home institution for these subjects.

Advanced standing (recognition of prior learning)

Orientation Program
The international student orientation program covers useful and important information which will assist you in making a smooth adjustment to life in Australia and making the most of the academic opportunities at UTS. It also provides opportunities for you to meet other students and get involved with campus life
Tandem
The Tandem Program matches new international students with experienced UTS students so that they have someone to answer questions, share tips on local culture and practise new language skills with – or just hang out! Having a Tandem partner is a great way of extending your social network and linking up to groups and services both on and off campus.
